Actually called "Two sides to the same situation". Why? It just popped into my head. That, and they act a lot alike at times, but are from basically opposite worlds. Ryou's from the Kokoro timeline where he's with Ichigo; Kyr's the son of Retasu and Ryou. Tried to contrast the feathers, white for Kyr cuz he's an angel gijinka, black for Ryou because as a mage he can make himself really small black wings, and the one in the middle where they meet is half of both. The thing in the background is Libra. The necklace is basically from Kingdom Hearts, (O.o) but it has importance since Ryou's dad gave it to him. Blah blah, I ramble.
I actually cheated, I looked at some Ryou anime shots, so I did the eyes that way. My first sketch of this was full-bodied but it looked really dumb. I was going to add the staves, but there wasn't room. I did put the DNA marks, though. Eh... I'm proud of the hands. This was good practice for that even if I had to redo them like ten times. Ran out of markers halfway through and had to purchase more so I could finish it this morning.
Took me all weekend, but I must say I'm extremely proud of this piece. I think it's one of my best, and I'd like to experiment with the anime style a little more in the future.
Anyway, made this for for her birthday which hasn't come yet. But I hope you like it anyway.

Wow. This is really good. I love how you did the colors of the feathers, it's really nice. The coloring is great and I can imagine how you ran out of markers... What kind of markers do you use by the way?
Their expressions are great and the poses and clothes are perfect.
Nice job once again!
