aW: Relaxing Jenski Cover by ellana aW: Relaxing Jenski Cover by ellana
Jenski. He's my Maine Coon kitty man.
Photoshop with much filtering and layers. I dunno how long it took... on and off for two days.

I'm coloring it for class. Trying something different with coloring... I like my other coloring style better, honestly, because his suit just looks sloppy.

Smaller heads are much more realistic.
The only problem I have is with the tail and hand. The hand looks a little wonky, and the tail...how long is it? :|
Other than that, it's lovely. I like the snow - it reminds me of his story, which is very ironic and...um, matching? :XD:

Oh, I did the snowy stuff on purpose.

Meh... my hands are always wonky. I personally thought this one looked less so than usual, although I still need to work on them.

The tail... it's pretty long, but maybe a little too long at that angle.

Hands are hard to draw for anybody - I know my hands give me grief all the time. :|

Regarding the tail...a cat's tail is for balance, and thus is proportioned to its size. So, perhaps the tail is properly sized, but its good to take feline proportion into account. :
In all my pictures of Ichigo (save the last one), I try to properly proportion, but since her animal has a rather small tail, it's hard. :XD:

This looks even better in color! I think I see what you mean about the suit. Did you do something differently when you colored the fur? I really like how those parts came out. They really look furry. I like how his hair turned out too.

I used the smudge tool on the fur. It's really good for making fur and grass. I think I blurred it a little in the end, too, since this was before I got the hang of it..

Nice.

I think this style calls for a harder brush. The softer brush takes away the depth unless you really lather on the layers. He does look like he's dressed in velvet though- it's a really neat effect!
