Whee. Oh gosh this guy is so mean~ First I couldn't get the hair right, then I didn't know what clothes to put on him, and then the colors got all mussed up. It's really amazing how changing the pant color completely changed the look of the character (kinda like Yukio's vest change). He still reminds me of Trowa Barton (Gundam Wing), but not as much so now that I've gotten away from all neutral colors. His clothes match Ellana's in a way. I guess those will be the afterlife theme colors, because there's no other reason they match.
Anyway... what can I say about him while avoiding spoilers...? His name went from Koris/Coris -> Madrigiel -> Rafe -> Rayfe. I still think Madrigiel sounds kinda fun, but, meh. I also had Vesper in the mix, but nobody liked that. Anyways, I changed the spelling of Rafe to look cooler, but it basically means "shield" (for a reason, although it will be a LONG time before you find out why). Rayfe is an angel. Despite his weapon, he is NOT an angel of death or shinigami at all, and he doesn't go around killing people. The weapon itself does indeed have a lot of symbolism, and it's a little patriotic too. You probably can't tell, but it's topped by an eagle with an olive branch (or whatever) in its beak and it's smashing an arrow (think the American quarter). Another thing you might notice (and critique me on) is the fact that his left arm kinda... disappears into oblivion. This was done on purpose, as he's missing an arm (explained later, it will ALL be explained later XD).
Rayfe is one of the higher ups Ellana talks about, and he was sent to oversee the deal Ellana has made with the human boys (ie. to make sure they don't like break any Spirit World rules or anything). He looks young, but he's actually in his mid-late twenties, a little older than Jenski. Um... personality... I'm not quite sure. Perhaps a little aloof and mysterious. Perhaps a little suspicious too... He'll show up briefly in the first chapter with Star and then disappear for a while.
Um, that's it?
