Hey everyone,
Due to recent policy changes on this site, I will be phasing out my artwork and looking for a new platform. Any artwork that I have created as part of an art trade, request, gift, or collaboration, however, will be staying (unless, of course, you ask me to remove it).
I will be posting updates here as things develop, though at the moment I don't have any public social media accounts that I update frequently. If you're a fan of Tokyo Mew Mew, your best bet would be to follow me on tumblr at neko-tokyo.tumblr.com. You can also find me (for the moment) on twitter at twitter.com/pactfulfilled.
Although I think AI as a concept does have potential to be used in fascinating pro-artist ways, I absolutely DO NOT condone artists' creations being fed into an AI without their consent, nor do I appreciate what seems to be an overly complicated process to opt-out (or at least ATTEMPT to opt-out) of just that.
Therefore, as someone who would like to work towards launching her own brand within the coming years and who would like to continue supporting artists, I've decided to take what little bit of action I can.
Whether you choose to follow me on a new platform or not, I'd like to thank everyone who has commented and encouraged me over the years. Sifting through these old pieces of fanart, I've rediscovered lots of warmth and kind words.

Oh goodness...I've spent the past week or so clearing out my inbox (almost 300 old messages!) and other notifications. Not too sure what I'm going to do with this account, but I guess I am back for the time being. (Y-yay...?) Also I apologize in advance if any of my replies are something along the lines of "bwuh?". Or if I don't sound like myself (however that's possible). It has been a really, really long time for me. I'll offer up a messy summary, though.
Graduated college (2008) and have been working at a newspaper for going on 5 years. I don't write for it - I'm part of the ad design group who makes advertisements for local small businesses, car dealerships, and real estate agencies. It's not my dream job - more of a starting point until I find something I really want to do. (I'm not even sure at this point what I really want to do, but designing toys or something sounds like fun.) In my free time I read and play video games mostly. I also like visiting antique shops with my mom. Writing comes in occasionally with casual roleplaying and creating AUs (alternate universes).
If anyone remembers my cat, Jake, he became ill and we had to put him down around Christmas of 2011. We got our new cat, Tess ("Tessarose"), a year ago today (pictured in my ID). She's a calico from the humane society and very spoiled.
I still enjoy anime/manga and the like, and have a growing interest in steampunk as well as photography - so you may be seeing some of that. My main "fandom" is the Tales of video game series, particularly Abyss and Graces. I also follow mangas The Legend of Sakura-Hime and Skip-Beat. Also My Little Pony and Once Upon a Time. And I'm guessing you guys probably already know about the Tokyo Mew Mew manga re-release from a bit ago.
Supposedly "a la mode" is coming back out later this year too.
That is about it for me. Hope everyone who reads this is doing well and keeping warm.

An Important Note

I thought I'd leave a note, since so many people asked me whether and where I'd be posting my art from now on. I've basically been on hiatus for two years and am just now trying to get back into the swing of things with an upcoming art exhibit (January 2011). Though I don't plan on posting regularly to DA anymore, I will post my remaining commissions and trades here when I get to them. I know I owe people stuff and it has not escaped my attention. If I owe you something and you've changed your mind about what you want me to draw for you (I realize it's been a long time and tastes change), please toss me a comment right now. I sincerely apologize that these trades and commissions have been allowed to sit for so long. e-e;;
That said, I've made a tumblr account (circadia.tumblr.com/) and hope to use this as an art progress blog of sorts - since people seemed to enjoy progress photos in the past. I also have an LJ (cherryfox.livejournal.com) and a plurk. At the moment the plurk is private, but if I know you relatively well I will be happy to add you. If enough people are interested in following a public plurk, I can make a public account for art and fandom related things. The LJ is about 1/3 public and 2/3 private.
On the fandom front, I've moved on from Tokyo Mew Mew. I still have some sketches and an Ichigo lineart lying around, but don't expect too much from me in relation to it...? I'll be happy to chatter about the series or point you to scans or whatever, but I'm not in love with it like I used to be. I had a good time, though! I wouldn't trade it, and I'd like to belatedly thank everyone who followed my website (Mew Project Network aka Neko-Tokyo) and put up with my fangirling (and those who continue to put up with my fangirling over Auldrant). /o/!!
Lastly, to everyone who has followed my art, whether for years or seconds, whether my entire gallery or just a single piece of my work. Thank you. I'm heartened by your support and hope to improve both myself and my illustrations. Thanks for all your compliments and criticisms.

Ad Libitum - a tales of the world RPG

I will try announcing it here as well, because I haven't had much luck. Yet. I have started a Tales of the World roleplaying game on Livejournal (That covers Symphonia, Phantasia, Vesperia, Abyss, ALL OF THEM), and I would love to see some more members! 
If you're interested, please check out the rules/info/details and the logs. I think it could be really fun, but only if I get more than three people who are interested. =3 And only like five characters are taken so far, so there's lots left to choose from. Yes.

Well, I am having a contest and I'd like to see a few more entries.
Basically all you do is come up with something creative that represents Ichigo - whether this be art, poetry, prose, a skit, food, or something entirely different is up to you. There will be one winner and that person will receive (in the mail) some Tokyo Mew Mew goodies including an Ichigo-themed Tokyo Mew Mew trading card game deck, a postcard, address book, and whatever else I can round up. If this sounds at all interesting to you, please enter! There is no limit to how many entries you can submit. It'll be a lot of fun, and if all goes well I'd love to do this again in the future!
